On the afternoon of September 27, the seventh semester grade conference for Grade 2018 was held at Room 109, No. 3 Teaching Building. Luo Caiwei, counselor of Grade 2018, presided over the conference, and all students of Grade 2018 attended the conference.
At the meeting, Luo Caiwei firstly emphasized that the current senior students are facing the problems of postgraduate entrance examination and employment, and they need to choose their life path carefully.
Then she sorted out the important events that needed attention in each month of the graduation year for students. First is the current work related to the evaluation of merit and poverty recognition in September and October, as well as the preparation for the development of party members and the registration for important examinations, and the next is the preparation for the spring double-selection and the second-round postgraduate entrance examination in March and April of the coming year. After that, she sorted out the time points of employment, emphasized the importance of checking student information, and introduced the employment recommendation form, employment agreement, registration card and other related contents. In terms of further studies and employment, she reminded the students to obtain job information in time and pay attention to all important time nodes. Then, she told about the problems that should be paid attention to when filling in the employment recommendation form and the employment agreement, and she also reminded everyone to be contractual and cautious when signing the employment contract.
After that, Luo Caiwei introduced the problems faced by senior students standing at the doorstep of life transition, and told the details that should be paid attention to in postgraduate recommendation, postgraduate entrance examinations and job hunting, and also put forward some suggestions and requirements.
For those recommended for master program, she hoped everyone could go to the desired university and help the students with difficulties in their studies appropriately after getting the qualification. For the students taking postgraduate entrance examination, Luo Caiwei gave the following three suggestions: First, if it is an interdisciplinary postgraduate entrance examination or a strong discipline in the university, you should contact the supervisor in advance; Second, you should have your own review time plan; Third, do a good job in the postgraduate entrance examination or employment. For students who want to apply for a job, Luo Caiwei put forward four requirements: First, seize the opportunity and prepare well; Second, attach importance to it, get excited and get nervous; Third, prepare your resume, actively run, and learn to fight for it; Fourth, fully confident, look at reality and learn to adjust. She also emphasized that whether you are studying for a master degree or looking for a job, you should do a good job in future career planning and prepare a qualified resume carefully.
Luo Caiwei also put forward some precautions and requirements. In safety, attention should be paid to epidemic prevention, fraud prevention, fire prevention and job hunting. In graduation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the course credits meet the graduation conditions and be responsible for yourself. In daily life, attention should be paid to classroom and exam discipline, as well as the issues related to leave, internship and dormitory.
