At 10 am on August 20, 2021, the online communication and exchange meeting of “where to go for employment? I decide” jointly organized by the “Intelligent” Employment Practice Group and BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. was officially launched. Liu Xuefeng, HR of BOE, Xu Jian, Deputy Director of Personnel Department, schoolfellow Li Hongsen, Shi Jingge, a new employee of the Human Resources Department, and all members of the “Intelligent” Employment Practice Group attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ding Quanbin, leader of the practice group, gave a detailed introduction to the members of the whole team, the supporting units, the significance of this activity and the desired objectives.

 

 

Li Hongsen, a graduate of Grade 2018 from the School of Materials and Chemistry of our School, who has worked in Wuhan BOE for three years and is mainly engaged in product yield testing, was interviewed.

Li Hongsen said that the employment association of the university had given great support, and many seniors in the employment association were very accomplished in their resumes. He also reminded the younger students who were about to find a job to know how to make trade-offs, make appropriate compromises and find a better choice when considering the remuneration, work intensity and distance from home.

 

Shi Jingge, from Wuhan University of Technology, who is currently engaged in personnel management, told about the problems he encountered in the workplace.

 

 

Finally, Xue Jian, deputy director of Personnel Department of Wuhan BOE, was interviewed, who gave his own opinions on the development status of the company and the employment of college students.

 

When referring to the students’ abilities that enterprises pay more attention to, Xue Jian said that we should focus on three aspects: first, as students, we should do a good job in study; second, we should constantly enrich the experience of social practice; third, we should be diligent in accumulating our own internship experience. He stressed that excellent grades, comprehensive quality and rich internship experience were the key for enterprises to judge students’ ability.

 

 

The meeting ended successfully. The sharing of first-hand experience by alumni and new employers provides the latest employment information for the graduating students, and also makes the team members have a clearer career plan for themselves.
