The First Regular Meeting of the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in July

On the morning of July 7, the first regular meeting of the student affairs leading group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in July was held in Conference Room 502, No. 2 Teaching Building. Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the School, presided over the meeting, and all counselors of the student affairs leading group and 1 part-time counselor attended the meeting.

I. Participants reported the work progress and exchanged views

Du Yu, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and graduate counselor, reported the work progress in the change of main principals of all departments of Youth League Committee, school-enterprise cooperation art performance, summer voluntary support education program of Xiaxinxumeng education assistance group, the organization and mobilization of Energy Equipment Innovative Design Competition for China Postgraduate, transfer of graduate League organization membership, statistics of graduate students’ leaving and staying during summer vocation of the grade, and the guidance for summer vocation social practice and social survey.

Ding Yufeng, the instructor of the student union and counselor of Grade 2017, reported on the work progress in graduation activities, change of principal responsible persons of the organizations under student union, the selection of assistant class adviser and the organization of graduation ceremony,   etc. 2021 graduates’ school-leaving procedures, the convening of key cadres work meeting of the new student union, the selection and employment of assistant head teachers, the statistics of students’ leaving and staying in school during summer vocation of the grade, and the guidance for summer vocation social practice and social survey.

Luo Caiwei, the employment instructor, mental health education instructor and counselor of Grade 2018, reported on the work progress in handling of students’ psychological problems, the statistics of students’ leaving and staying in school during summer vocation of the grade, employment services for 2022 graduates, and the guidance for summer vocation social survey.

Maimaiti · Aierken, the instructor of student scholarships and grants and the counselor of Grade 2019, reported on the work progress in the statistics of students’ leaving and staying in school during summer vocation of the grade, summer home visit plan for students from Xinjiang, and the guidance for summer vocation social practice and social survey.

Liu Biao, the instructor of Party building and counselor of Grade 2020, reported on the work progress in the development of student party members, the transfer of graduate Party members’ organizational relations, the organization and implementation of the centennial celebration of the founding of the Party on July 1, the statistics of students’ leaving and staying in school during summer vocation of the grade, and the guidance for summer vocation social practice and social survey.

II. Deputy Secretary Yu Xiaozhou arranged work for the near term

1. Emphasize to clear all remaining work during the summer vocation;

2. Earnestly implement the on-duty system and leave reporting system;

3. Plan 2021 freshmen registration and entrance education in advance;

4. Continue to strengthen and follow up the implementation of the employment intention of unemployed students in 2021 and the promotion of the employment related work for graduates in 2022;

5. Think deeply and carry out academic research based on the practical situation.

III. The participants discussed and agreed on the specific contents of the indicator system of the monthly assessment scheme for class league.
