The First Regular Meeting of the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in April

On the morning of April 7, the first regular meeting of the student affairs leading group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in April was held in Conference Room 502, No. 2 Teaching Building. Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the School, presided over the meeting, and all counselors of the student affairs leading group attended the meeting.

I. Participants reported the work progress and exchanged views

Du Yu, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and graduate counselor, reported the progress in May 4th appraisal, recommending the excellent to joint the Party, communication of League and student organizations, proposal for Party history study and education, Challenge Cup, Internet plus, space adjustment of innovation and entrepreneurship sub-base and postgraduate fun games.

Ding Yufeng, the instructor of the student union and counselor of Grade 2017, reported the progress in May 4th appraisal of the student union, the organization of sports meeting, the preparation for love song competition, the undergraduate employment, the summary of second-round postgraduate entrance examination, and the follow-up of key unemployed objects.

Luo Caiwei, the employment instructor, mental health education instructor and counselor of Grade 2018, reported on  the promotion of international exchange projects, the mechanism improvement of psychological association, the preparation of postgraduate psychological training, the holding of 2018 Grade conference and employment guidance meeting, and the holding of monitor meeting.

Maimaiti·Aierken, the instructor of student scholarships and grants and the counselor of Grade 2019, reported on the work progress in subsidies for students from Xinjiang, comprehensive evaluation, temporary hardship allowance, enrollment publicity, recruitment propaganda, and basic civilization construction, as well as the holding of grade meeting and study style construction mobilization meeting, and the monitor and League branch secretary symposium, etc.

Liu Biao, the instructor of Party construction and counselor of Grade 2020, reported the progress in the training class for development objects, the formulation of implementation plan for a series of activities for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the planning of the mobilization meeting for Party history study and education, the preparation of the plan for “seeking the footprints of Party history and honing the original mission” practical research activities, the comprehensive evaluation, daily heart to heart talks, and visits to dormitories; setting up the file cabinet for whole process management of the materials for joining the Party; regular meeting of Party branch secretaries and grade meeting for Grade 2020.

II. Deputy Secretary Yu Xiaozhou listened to the reports and arranged work for the near term

1.  She conveyed the spirit of the deputy secretary regular meeting of the University held on April 6, and required all counselors to promote the relevant work in a solid and orderly manner according to the work arrangement and requirements.

2. Further strengthen the education and management of ethnic minority students and mobilize them to move closer to Party organizations.

3. Continue to promote the employment work, timely update the records of unemployed students, regularly release the employment briefing, strengthen the process guidance, and complete the employment related work with quality and quantity according to the time node, and effectively improve the employment quality.

4. Promote the work related to 2021 China College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award;

5. Implement the work of supplementing senior high school archives to the undergraduate personnel archives.

III. At the meeting, the participants discussed and reached a consensus on the weather change alternatives for spring sports of the School, the development of minority student party members, and related issues
