The “Craftsman of Great Powers” was Invited to Zhendan Forum of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)

 On April 15, Tan Wenbo, the winner of national “Model Workers”, national “May 1st” Labor Medal and “Craftsman of Great Powers” of the year, was invited to Zhendan Forum of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) to give a lecture on “Love our Party and build dreams in the new ear: studying the Party history, understanding the philosophy, and decrypting your life code” for the teachers and students. The meeting hall for nearly 400 people was full.

Tan Wenbo connected the development process of the Party and the country with vivid stories of his own experiences, such as working in Xinjiang, studying at Berlin University of Science and Technology Application, the research and development of new bridge plug sealing tool, deeply touched at the award ceremony of “The Most Beautiful Workers in China”, and attending the ceremony of 70th Anniversary of New China. He mainly talked about respecting our own choice, setting goals in time, and keeping the faith, conveyed the shining spirit of model worker, labor and craftsman to every student, and encouraged the college students to speed up running on the road of pursuing dreams and strive to make extraordinary in the ordinary. He was engaged as a member of the beautiful China lecturer group and a guest counselor of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), said: “No man can stand without spirit and a country without spirit can’t be strong. At the time of deeply promoting the study and education of Party history and solemnly celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, we should deepen the craftsman culture, work hard and be willing to contribute, transform the learning outcomes into the conscious action and powerful motivation for working and starting businesses, and gather the strong positive energy for building a beautiful China with hard work, persistence, and hard struggle.”

Ding Yufeng, counselor of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), said: “I will inherit the craftsman spirit with all my heart, base myself on the front line of education, guide young students to integrate their personal ideals into the common struggle of the Party and the people, and make unremitting efforts to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”
