First Regular Meeting of the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic information in March

At 10:00 a.m. on March 1, the first regular meeting of the student affairs leading group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information in March was held in Conference Room 502, No. 2 Teaching Building. Yu Xiaozhou, deputy secretary of the Party committee of our School, presided over the meeting, and all counselors of the student affairs leading group attended the meeting.

I. Deputy Secretary Yu Xiaozhou arranged work for the near term

1. Based on the development ideas of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and the actual situation of student affairs, deeply think about the five-year plan for student affairs, put forward specific development goals and measures, and implement step by step;

2. Further improve the working mechanism, increase the visits to students’ classrooms and dormitories, carry out in-depth heart to heart talks, promote the integration of undergraduate and postgraduate affairs, make the student roster, conversation memos and other work records, and pay attention to the consideration and analysis of the effectiveness of daily education management;

3. Focusing on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, make overall planning of theme education activities to promote the implementation of the four history education;

4. Strengthen the selection of student models, investigate outstanding students’ deeds, select and set samples, and give full play to the role of examples depending on all kinds of student awards evaluation mechanism;

5. Implement the requirements of “one search and two promotion”, continue to provide employment guidance for graduates of 2021, and give full play to the strength of teachers, to enhance the students’ employment competitiveness;

6. Continue to promote “all staff education”, hold regular work meetings for head teachers, and promote the performance evaluation of head teachers, so as to give full play to the role of head teachers;

7. Continue to strengthen the epidemic prevention and control, strictly implement the health daily report, late roll call and leave reporting system;

8. Strengthen safety education and formulate the safety commitment for students of our School;

9. Continue to promote the settlement and conscription of college students.

II. At the meeting, the participants discussed and reached a consensus on monthly evaluation of class League branch, the selection, training and assessment of student cadres, the improvement of basic civilization construction, the spring sports of the School, and other related matters.
