Party Branches of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information Held the Theme Party Day Activities in October 2021

On October 28, 2021, according to the relevant arrangements of the University, the party branches of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information conducted the October theme party day activity and the education and learning of the construction of teachers' ethics and style in the new era, and had a heated discussion.

In accordance with the agenda requirements of the "Theme Party Day", party members first sang the national anthem, recited the oath of party membership, and collectively recited the party constitution to further enhance the identity awareness of Party members.

After that, the participating party members studied several important documents together, including the "Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech at the Work Conference of Central People's Congress", "Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech at the Central Talent Work Conference" and "Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech at the Conference Commemorating the 110th Anniversary of the Revolution of 1911", which further clarifed the duties and exemplary leadership role they should perform as party members. Then, the participants had a group study on the Master Plan for Reform and Development in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the University, and shared, exchanged and discussed how to achieve the goals of the development plan of the school, thus strengthening the determination to make unremitting efforts to build an internationally renowned research university in the field of earth sciences.

Qu Xianghua, secretary of the branch under the School, made a concluding speech at the end. He once again emphasized the ten guidelines of professional conduct of teachers in colleges and universities in the new era and the importance of the construction of teachers’ ethics in the new era, and reminded everyone to remember the mission, constantly improve their ideological and political quality and professional ethics, and strive to be a competent teacher of the people in the new era.

After the meeting, the party members carried out the volunteer service of "laboratory cleaning ". Through this volunteer service activity, all the party members of the branch were inspired to inherit and carry forward the fine traditions and style of the party, to play the pioneering role of party members who are not afraid of being dirty and tired, and to take the lead in labor, to make the party spirit of the comrades be exercised, and to further enhance the cohesion, combat power and appeal of the branch.
