On the Conclusion Acceptance of the Teaching Laboratory Open Fund (Academic Year 2018-2019)
To all Schools:
In accordance with the “Administrative Measures for the Opening of Teaching Laboratories of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)” (DDZSZ [2015] No. 05), the Office of Laboratory and Equipment Management organized the application and evaluation of the teaching laboratory open fund in November 2018, and finally 231 projects were approved. After one year’s implementation cycle, the projects have entered the stage of final acceptance, and the relevant matters of acceptance are hereby notified as follows:
I. Basis of acceptance. The final acceptance is based on the content of the assignment paper of the laboratory open fund. Please log in “Laboratory Integrated Information Management System” (http://syslab.cug.edu.cn) for all project leaders, to submit the “Acceptance Report of the Project Supported by Teaching Laboratory Open Fund of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)” from May 9 to May 22, 2020, and no online acceptance application will be accepted after the deadline. All relevant units should provide support and services for project acceptance.
II. Submission of materials. The acceptance is fully realized in paperless manner, and there is no need to submit the paper version of acceptance report and laboratory open project teaching log. All project leaders are requested to complete the content of assignment paper in time, fill in the teaching log in the system and apply for the conclusion. The comments of the instructor, the person in charge of the laboratory and the school or department are reviewed in the system.
III. Deadline. The deadline for submitting the online acceptance report is 12:00 on May 22, 2020. The system will automatically shut down after the deadline, the project will be deemed as failing the acceptance and the funding support will be cancelled.
IV. System login. Teachers and students outside the University can visit the intranet outside the University through the campus network VPN provided by the network and information center to log in and complete the submission and examination of materials. For details, please refer to the annex: “Campus Network VPN Guide Manual”.
V. Evaluation method. The Office of Laboratory and Equipment Management organizes experts to conduct online evaluation. The evaluation includes online preliminary evaluation and final evaluation. In the online preliminary evaluation, recommended excellent projects (about 10%), qualified projects and unqualified projects are selected; in the online final evaluation, the judges listen to the PPT report of the project leader through the Internet, and select the excellent projects of the open fund of the year (about 5%). The Office of Laboratory and Equipment Management will publish the acceptance results of all projects. For the School whose total project completion rate is less than 80%, the Office of Laboratory and Equipment Management will not subsidize the establishment of the laboratory open fund for the unit next year. For Schools with high completion rate or high excellence rate at the time of acceptance, the amount of subsidy will be added in the next year's project evaluation as the performance award of laboratory open fund project management.

Remarks: The acceptance of fund projects must be completed on the premise that the application, assignment paper, teaching log, acceptance report and results are all complete, before entering the examination and evaluation stage. The project leader who has not submitted the assignment paper in the early stage can only submit the acceptance report after submitting the assignment paper and teaching log in the system!
