Notice on Using Duplicate Checking System for Graduate Course Papers

To all education units:

In order to implement the spirit of the National Graduate Education Conference, to strengthen the management of teaching process, to further improve the teaching quality, to strengthen the students’ course papers writing ability, and to put an end to the occurrence of academic misconduct such as plagiarism and copying, upon consideration, the course paper duplicate checking system will be formally introduced and used since this semester, and the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Checking system: CNKI course assignment management system

2. Checking objects: Graduate students with effective course

3. Checking range: Essays, assignments, research reports, etc.

4. Checking functions: (1) Horizontal checking: comparison the uploaded assignments with the existing massive data in the system; (2) Longitudinal checking: packaging the previous electronic version of the assignments and uploading to the “personal comparison database” in the system (the newly uploaded papers will also be automatically saved in the “personal comparison database”) to prevent plagiarism in upper and lower grades; (3) In-campus mutual checking: mutual checking within the campus to prevent students from plagiarizing each other.

5. Principles of use: All courses with essays, assignments and research reports as the assessment method must use this system, and the checking results can be used as the reference basis for performance evaluation, and be audited and managed by corresponding education unit.

7. Login ID application: The teacher can join QQ communication group by searching group number or scanning QR code from October 5, and the administrator will assign login ID and provide guidance.

8. Login: select “Email / user name login”

Student user name: “cug_ student ID       password: student ID

Teacher user name: “cug_ job ID          password: job ID

The user name of the department administrator is the personal mailbox submitted to the administrator, and the password is issued by the administrator.

Convenient login method: after logging in to the system for the first time, bind WeChat in the system and then log in with WeChat.
