Brief Introduction to Practice Base of Department of Mechanical Engineering

   Department of Mechanical Engineering has rich hardware assurance resources in practice teaching. At present, it has the teaching labs of 7131m2, with the total value of the teaching instruments and equipment up to RMB 21,540,000.00 Yuan, nearly 30 off-campus practice bases such as the state-level engineering practice and education center (as shown in Table 1), over 500,000 collections of the mechanical books in the library, 90 electronic databases in Chinese and foreign languages, expenses for teaching and research up to RMB 3,000,000.00 Yuan (recent 3 years) and the practice expense per student up to RMB 1,600.00 Yuan.

The practice bases owned by this specialty cover many provinces, municipalities and regions and they can synchronously satisfy the demand for practice teaching for over 200 students. With the support of the above-mentioned practice bases, the professional teachers lead the students to know well mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation at the front line of the production and then understand the actual situation and future development trend of the technology and production of this specialty.
