Implementation Plan for Monthly Evaluation of Undergraduate Class Youth League Branches of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) (Trial)

 

Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 In order to comprehensively implement the fundamental task of establishing moral values and educating people, effectively promote the construction of undergraduate class youth league branches, create a good study and living atmosphere, enhance the organizational cohesion and sense of collective honor of the members of class youth league branches, guide and supervise the student Party members and student backbones of class youth league branches to play a leading role and enhance their work efficiency, this scheme is hereby developed.

Article 2 The Youth League Committee of the School shall set up an implementation group for the monthly evaluation of class youth league branches, which is composed of the heads of the functional departments of the Youth League Committee of the School, the presidium of the student union and the heads of the Youth League affiliated center, to carry out monthly evaluation under the leadership of the student affairs leading group of the School.

Article 3 The monthly evaluation is carried out for all undergraduate class youth league branches of the School.

Chapter II Working Procedures

Article 4 The monthly evaluation is started on the 25th of each month. The Youth League Committee of the School issues information collection forms to the each class youth league branch of the School. Each class youth league branch should fill out the indexes and supporting documents according to the "Monthly Evaluation Index System for Class Youth League Branches of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information" (Annex I, hereinafter referred to as "Index System") and "Monthly Evaluation Scoring Rules for Class Youth League Branches of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information" (Annex II, hereinafter referred to as "Scoring Rules"), as well as the actual situation of the month. The information collection form should be returned to the Youth League Committee of the School by 24:00 on the 27th of the same month as the scoring basis. Information on and after the 25th of that month shall be carried forward to the following month for accounting purposes.

Article 5 The league and student organizations of the School make statistics and verification according to the information submitted by the class and its own work records, score according to the scoring rules after verification, and send the scores to the Secretary Department of the Youth League Committee before 20:00 on 30th of that month. The Secretary Department will summarize and form the preliminary evaluation results.

Article 6 The Youth League Committee of the School will publicize the preliminary evaluation results to all undergraduate class youth league branches from 1st to 3rd of the following month, and the final results will be formed after no objection.

Article 7 The results of monthly evaluation are archived by the School Youth League Committee, and the relevant data are used as an important basis for the evaluation of awards and merits for class youth league branches.

Chapter III Work Requirements

Article 8 The class youth league branches must attach great importance to the monthly evaluation work, and carry out daily material collection and collation according to the scoring rules, while carefully sorting out their own work shortcomings and strengthening and improving them in time.

Article 9 All class youth league branches and youth and student organizations must carry out relevant work in strict accordance with the required time. For class youth league branches that fail to submit relevant materials on time, points will be deducted accordingly according to the scoring rules.

Article 10 All league and student organizations should strictly follow the scoring standards and carry out the scoring work in a fair and impartial manner without showing any favoritism, once found, it will be handled seriously according to relevant regulations.

Chapter IV Supplementary Provisions

Article 11 This scheme is interpreted by the Student Affairs Leading Group of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information.

Article 12 This scheme will come into force as of the date of promulgation. If other relevant documents are inconsistent with these Provisions, these Provisions shall prevail.

1. Attendance at various meetings (40 points)

40 points for full attendance, 10 points deducted for each absence, 5 points deducted for each late arrival

5 points will be deducted for each early departure, until all points are deducted. Class or youth league committee members who ask for leave must follow the meeting requirements and be replaced by other members for the meeting, otherwise they will be treated as absent from the meeting.

2. Submission of various work materials (40 points)

 (1) If all materials are filled in carefully, submitted on time, with informative content and standardized format, full score of 40 points will be awarded.

(2) 5 points will be deducted for those who submit after the submission time; 10 points will be deducted for those who exceed the submission time and fail to submit.

(3) 5 points will be deducted once for plagiarism of submitted content.

(4) 5 points will be deducted once for irregular formatting and untidy typography.

(5) Points for this item will be deducted until zero.

Integrated operation of class committee and youth league branch committee (15 points)

1. The class monitor serves as the deputy secretary of his or her branch (5 points)

2. Class meetings (10 points)

If a class holds a class meeting on its own in the same month and submits the minutes and pictures to prove it, 5 points will be awarded for each meeting, and 10 points will be awarded at most. Meeting minutes and photo proof shall be submitted.

(3) If 80% of the number of league members of the branch is reached, 10 points will be awarded

(4) If 60% of the number of league members of the branch is reached, 5 points will be awarded

(5) If it fails to reach 60% of the number of League members of the branch, 0 point will be awarded

 

 

(II)

Thematic youth league day activities

(25 points)

1. Basic score (15 points)

(1) 15 points for those carry out thematic league day activities as required

(2) 0 point for those fail to carry out the activity for no reason or fail to submit the materials within the time limit

 

2. Activities carried out (10 points)

(1) 10 points will be awarded to the branch that is rated as excellent theme day activity or invites the youth lecturer group of the School this month

Collection of league fees (10 points)

 

10 points for paying the monthly league fee on time, 4 points deducted for not submitting on time, 2 points deducted for each person less, until the end of the deduction

 

(IV)

Inspection of youth league branch work manual

(20 points)

(1) 5 points for timely submission of the workbook of the league branch

(2) 5 points for complete basic information and semester planning and summary

(3) 5 points for complete activity records without omissions

(4) 5 points for detailed, neatly written and correctly formatted workbook

 

 

(V) Other work

(15 points)

15 points will be awarded if all work materials are submitted in time and in line with the requirements; 5 points will be deducted for failing to submit in time; 5 points will be deducted if the materials submitted fail to meet the requirements; 0 point for those failing to submit materials.

(This category includes promotion to the Party, development of league members, league statistics, May 4 evaluation, league organization relationship transfer, new student cadre training, league member education and evaluation, league registration, intelligent league building, party history learning and education entry, etc.)

Differential competition activities or work

(50 points)

 

May 4 evaluation differential awards, summer social practice, 100 students lecture forum, "My Third Eye", theme league day design competition and other competitive work or activities.

(1) 3 points will be awarded for each registration, up to a maximum of 30 points.

(2) 5 points will be awarded for each award, up to a maximum of 20 points.

If the public opinion provided is considered to have important reference value or the content is novel, additional points can be awarded as appropriate, with 3 points for one article, 6 points for two articles, and 10 points for three or more articles.

 

 

 

 

(II)

Participation in online ideological and cultural activities

(30 points)

1. Participation in activities (20 points)

(1) A benchmark score of 15 points will be awarded if there are registered students.

(2) Points will be awarded according to the number of participants in the class: if the number of applicants reaches 10% of the total number of the class, 3 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 20% of the total number of the class, 6 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 30% of the total number of the class, 9 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 40% of the total number of the class, 12 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 50% of the total number of the class, 15 points will be awarded.

2. Submission time of activity data (10 points)

(1) 10 points for submission within the specified time;

(2) 5 points for submission not within the specified time;

(3) 0 point for failure in submission.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

III. Propaganda of ideology and culture

 

 

 

(III)

Manuscript submission and publicity report of the class youth league branch

(40 points)

1. Basic score (25 points)

(1) Submit monthly contributions to the submission email of the school and the content of the contributions is novel and positive, showing the youthful style and exemplary strength of the class or individual, with 10 points for one submission, 15 points for two submissions, and 25 points for three or more submissions;

(2) 5 points will be deducted for non-compliance with the submission format;

(3) 0 point for non contribution in that month.

2. Expansion score (15 points)

(1) 5 points for the manuscript being published by SU and League Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information;

(1) 10 points for manuscript published on the cugjdxy or the official website of the School

Other activities

(50 points)

1. Basic score (20 points)

If the members of the youth league branch or the team sign up for other activities such as Youth Lecturer Group, Top Ten Influencers, and Information Research Competition, the number of participants of each class league branch: 1 point for one participant, up to 20 points.

 

2. Expansion score (30 points)

(1) Information research competition: (calculated by the highest award) 1 point for 1 person winning at the school level, up to a maximum of 10 points, 2 points for one person winning at the university level, up to a maximum of 10 points.

(2) If members of the class are selected as youth lecturer or top ten influencers, 2 points will be awarded for each member, up to a maximum of 10 points.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IV. Study style construction

(I) Class attendance (45 points)

1. A benchmark score of 45 points for each class (a biweekly summary of class checks).

2. Points will be deducted for absenteeism or tardiness, and there is no lower limit for deduction

(1) 10 points will be deducted for each absence from each class (according to the number of absences rather than the total number);

(2) 5 points will be deducted for each late arrival for each class (according to the number of absences rather than the total number).

Note: Those who ask for leave should provide a leave slip before Friday of that week (it must be stamped by the student affairs leading group, and sent to corresponding group by the commissary in charge of studies in picture), otherwise it will be deemed as absenteeism.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(II)

Participation in the question bank of the School (30 points)

1. If the League branch of each class uses the good question bank of the School on schedule for self-test in the class, the benchmark score  of 10 points will be awarded; otherwise, 0 point.

2. If the League branch of each class submits the feedback of the questions in the question bank on time, the benchmark score of 5 points will be awarded, otherwise, 0 point for not submitting feedback.

3. If there are students in the class League branch who take part in the questions setting for the question bank, 5 points will be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 15 points.

(III)

Participation in learning camp (25 points)

1. If there are students in the class league branch who are the lecturers of the study training camp, 5 points can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 15 points.

2. If the class league committee participates in the study training camp, 3 points can be awarded for more than 5 people, 6 points can be awarded for more than 10 people, and 10 points can be awarded for more than 15 people.

(IV)

Participation in basic subject competition (5 points)

 

1. The number of students from each class youth league branch who sign up for various basic subject competitions: 2 points for 1 person, 4 points for 2 persons, 5 points for 3 persons or more.

Note: basic subject competitions, such as mathematics, English, physics and other related competitions.

(1) As for national awards, 5 points can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 20 points;

(4) As for school-level awards, 1 point can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 5 points;

(20 points)

(1) The volunteer activities (with photos or records of actual volunteer service materials) organized by the class and reported to the volunteer association by the class youth league branch will be awarded 5 to 10 points depending on the activities and feedback.

(2) 5-10 points will be awarded for classes or individuals who have submitted a good proposal that can be used by the Volunteer Association.

(50 points)

1. Scoring based on award level

(1) As for national awards, 5 points can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 20 points;

(2) As for provincial awards, 3 points can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 15 points;

(3) As for university-level awards, 2 points can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 10 points;

(4) As for school-level awards, 1 point can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 5 points.

 

VII. Cultural and sports activities

 

(I)

Participation in cultural and sports activities

(100 points)

 

1. As for the class youth league branches actively encourage students to participate in sports, literature and art, speech, debate and other activities at and above the school level, if there is registered student, they will be awarded a benchmark score of 50 points;

2. Points will be awarded according to the number of participants in the class: if the number of applicants reaches 10% of the total number of students in the class, 10 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 20% of the total number of students in the class, 20 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 30% of the total number of students in the class, 30 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 40% of the total number of students in the class, 40 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 50% of the total number of students in the class, 50 points will be awarded.

Attendance and quality of morning exercises

(40 points)

1. Morning Exercise Attendance (40 points)

The base score is 40 points. Full attendance in each class of freshman and sophomore year is 40 points per week, and points will be deducted cumulatively. 5 points will be deducted for one absence and 2 points will be deducted for being late (including morning training attendance, with the same standard).

 

 

 

 

 

(II)

Dormitory hygiene and civilization

(40 points)

1. Sanitary inspection (40 points)

With a benchmark score of 40 points, in the weekly hygiene inspection:

5 points will be awarded to the classes winning excellent dormitory, and 5 points will be deducted from the class corresponding to the poorer dormitory. The awarded and deducted points are accumulated.

 

 

 

VIII. Basic civilization

(III)

Participation in dormitory culture festival (40 points)

1.  The students are encouraged to participate in the Dormitory Culture Festival, and a benchmark score of 20 points will be awarded to the branches with participants.

2. Points will be awarded according to the number of participants in the class: if the number of applicants reaches 10% of the total number of students in the class, 5 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 20% of the total number of students in the class, 10 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 30% of the total number of students in the class, 15 points will be awarded; if the number of applicants reaches 40% of the total number of students in the class, 20 points will be awarded.

Dormitory awards (15 points)

1. Scoring based on award level

 

 

(1) As for university-level awards, 2 points can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 10 points;

 

(2) As for school-level awards, 1 point can be awarded for one person, up to a maximum of 5 points.

IX. Total score awarded

(I)

Various activities undertaken by the class League branch

If the class signs up to undertake various activities in the form of collective, 5 points shall be awarded to the class League branch.

 

(II)

The role of student representatives and the collection of proposals for the reception day of the university and school leaders

1. If the student representatives from each class (including but not limited to student representatives) actively participate in the call for questions and submit proposals, one point will be awarded for each one, up to a maximum of 5 points.

2. If the proposal submitted by class is screened as a valid proposal, 1 point will be awarded to each proposal, up to a maximum of 5 points.

 

(III)

Class members being selected into the Youth Marxism training project college Class at the school level or above or participating in the recruitment of college students into the military

 

1. If the members of class youth league branch are selected into the Youth Marxism training project college Class at the school level or above, 5 points will be awarded for 1 person, up to a maximum of 15 points.

2. If members of the class youth league branch participate in college students' recruitment and enlistment, 5 points will be awarded for 1 person, up to a maximum of 15 points.

 

IV.

Outstanding deeds of the organization or its members have been named and commended by relevant units inside and outside the university or widely reported by relevant media

 

1. For the class youth league branch praised or reported by school-level unit, 1 point will be awarded.

2. For the class youth league branch praised or reported by university-level unit, 2 points will be awarded.

3. For the class youth league branch praised or reported by municipal unit, 3 points will be awarded.

4. For the class youth league branch praised or reported by provincial unit, 4 points will be awarded.

5. For the class youth league branch praised or reported by national level units, 5 points will be awarded.

 

For multiple praise or reports, the highest score shall prevail.
