Laijie Wu

Laijie Wu (1970.10-), male, Party member, Ph. D, associate professor, master supervisor, is engaged in the teaching and scientific research in mechanical major, teaches courses for undergraduates and postgraduates, including “Analysis and Design of Mechatronics System”, and “Electromechanical Drive Control”, and his main research interests are automation and intelligence of mechatronics technology and mechanical equipment, development of electro-mechanical and hydraulic integrated system based on embedded system (SCM and ARM, etc.), PLC and industrial control system, research on the technical integration, parameter matching and working characteristic analysis of each unit module of  electromechanical system, and research on the application of new mechanical devices and new technologies (such as machine vision, AI control method, etc.) in the development of electromechanical product system. As the principal investigator or key participant, he has completed many provincial and ministry-level government sponsored and enterprise sponsored programs and obtained many scientific and technological achievements and awards. Some of the achievements have been applied in industry (such as intelligent medium-frequency induction sintering machine, CNC band saw CAM system, intelligent lens drilling machine, deep-hole drilling parameter monitor, intelligent winch rope arranger, etc.). He has published more than 50 professional papers, won more than 20 patents for inventions and 4 science and technology awards at all levels, and offered instructions for students in college mechanical competition, with many awards granted.

In teaching and scientific research, he lays stress on the combination of theory and practice and emphasizes “making study serve the practical purpose”, to develop inter-disciplinary and skilled talents with solid theoretical foundation, strong practical ability and innovative consciousness.
