Han Guangchao, male, born in 1974, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor, Party branch secretary of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has presided over the scientific research programs supported by the Joint Fund of Ministry of Education for Equipment Pre-research, Support Plan of Hubei Province, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Shenzhen Free Exploratory Basic Research Program, Open Fund of State Key Lab and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, has participated in State Key R&D Program, Key R&D Program of Hubei Province and Recruiting Program of Hubei Province, and has published more than 20 SCI/EI journal papers, obtained 6 invention patents and 6 utility model patents.

He is a member of Micro-Nano Forming Technology Committee of China Society for Technology of Plasticity, CMES; deputy Secretary-general of Special Processing Branch of Hubei Mechanical Engineering Society; executive director of Plastic Engineering Branch of Hubei Mechanical Engineering Society.

He is a reviewer of Micro & nano letter, Journal of Vibration and Shock, Journal of Plasticity Engineering and Journal of Netshape Forming Engineering.

Main research fields: Special energy field-assisted forming manufacturing process and equipment (ultrasonic/laser), microstructure mental 3D printing and forming, ultrasonic-assisted cutting and processing of difficult-to-machine materials, microplastic forming and processing, etc. Now, he has 1 doctoral student and 11 postgraduate students at school. 22 postgraduate students under his supervision have graduated.

Number of postgraduates to be admitted: 1 doctoral student/year, 3~4 master students/year.
