University-Enterprise Co-construction: A Visit to Wuhu College Student Internship Base

Recently, Qu Xianghua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, Li Bo, deputy dean of the School, Han Guangchao, secretary of the Party branch of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Gan Jinqiang, director of the Department of Industrial Design, went to Wuhu College Student Internship Base for investigation and held a symposium with representatives of some local enterprises in Wuhu.

Accompanied by the base staff, they visited Zhong Ding Heng Sheng Gas Equipment (Wuhu) Co., Ltd., Timco Aero Fasteners MANUFACTORY Ltd., Wuhu Ceprei Robot Technology Research Co., Ltd., Wuhu Googol Automation Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhu Generator Automotive Electrical Systems Co., Ltd., Wuhu Shangwei Automotive Accessories Co., Ltd., Wuhu Lejia Electrical Co., Ltd., Anhui Hongruixing Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., and Anhui Nanbo Intelligent Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. This School had an in-depth communication with each enterprise and got a clearer understanding of the talent needs of local enterprises in Wuhu.

After the visit to enterprises, our team visited the base and held a symposium with some enterprise representatives in Wuhu.

At the meeting, Hu Yan, the person in charge of the base, introduced the role of the base as a “bridge” and “window” to the attending representatives, hoping that the base could provide good school enterprise communication services, integrate the needs of multiple parties, and benefit the government, enterprises and college students.

The enterprise representatives introduced in detail their development, business areas and the demand for professional talents, and hoping to engage in in-depth cooperation with universities in scientific research and talent introduction.

Li Bo said at the symposium, “The visit to Wuhu enterprises has increased our confidence, and CUG and the enterprises are highly compatible in professional level and resource compatibility.” He hoped that in the future, CUG and the enterprises could achieve deep cooperation in talent training and technology exchange, and output more adaptable talents based on the needs of the enterprises.

The person in charge of the base said that the Base will continue to play the role of “bridge” and “window” to contribute to the introduction of talents in Wuhu and realize the two-way promotion between universities and enterprises.
