Brief Introduction to Practice Bases under Department of Electronic Information Engineering

Department of Electronic Information Engineering now has over 30 in-campus and off-campus practice places and bases. The in-campus practice places and bases include signal acquisition and processing lab, wireless sensor network lab and radio frequency and micro-wave lab in three directions: embedded system and communication signal processing, AI and robot and photo-electron and network technology; in addition, it has two practice platform for the students, including electronic information research and innovation association and robot association; the off-campus practice enterprises include Wuhan Easy-Sight Technology Co., Ltd, Hubei Tri-ring Forging Co., Ltd, Wuhan Hongzhi Electrical Co., Ltd, Wuhan Huada Shiju Technology Co., Ltd and Wuhan Xinghua Xintong Technology Co., Ltd. This department has jointly established the industry-university-research bases with many enterprises and established the joint lab with Wuhan Huarui Technology Co., Ltd and Wuhan Wolon Communication Technology Co., Ltd.

It strengthens the students’ ability of integrating theory with practice to make the student know and understand well the related knowledge of design, commission, production and after-sales of the electronic information products and system. The practice process covers practice mobilization, safety education, explanation and publicity of practice behaviors and specifications, brief introduction to the enterprises and culture introduction, topic selection of research and development programs, production visiting and experience, explanation of development flow, visiting to electronic information and Internet innovation enterprises and practice report and enterprise appraisal.
